On Thursday I will be leaving my beloved City of Mothers. This time for a trip to Madagascar…a dream. Even though I have contracted glandular fever, NO, I have not kissed a student, I am so very exited so, watch this space. I plan to once again share my journey in writing and images. I need to collect loads of visual material for my new drawings. So, watch this space!
The title of this work is simply Step(h).

After a grueling eleven hour flight directly south from NYC, I arrived in the land of the Spanish tongue. A strange, exotic experience like no other… Once again, I momentarily feel lost, walking one feet above the ground, blindly trusting my many angels. I call and once again the Argentinean heavens send me another angel. I meet Patricio, a kind doctor with three gorgeous Beagles, all with operatic names: Figaro, Brünhilde and ?…I forgot… We stroll the streets, have endless coffees, share history, and a life long-friendship slowly takes shape… We play hide and seek at the cemetery in Regoletta, I shoot angels and find a fellow sentient being…

I am running like a demented ant, getting ready to fly to NYC on Tuesday. Exiting times. My first major show with Dianne Heesom- Green! My body filled with flashes of energy, my heart strong and proud…and an angel waiting in the wings to become mine…

Exhibition in the Big Apple!

Despite the unforgiving weather and bitter cold, quite a few people attended our opening. Feedback great!!! Myself and Dianne were still terribly jet-lagged, but stood our ground…I believe we will get great reviews and hope for good sales!!!
My footsteps are already all over town, and I have to see so much before I leave for Buenos Aires, where I hope to meet new angels and inspiration for the year to come!!! I feel that 2008 will be a good one!!! I was offered a residency in Berlin, but after a few very unfortunate incidents, I decided to cancel! I feel something better is waiting in the wings…life is never dull or boring – that is for sure!!!!!!!!!!
